Compact Sound was set up by gigging musicians and technicians who realised how difficult it was to hire top quality sound equipment at affordable prices in Oxford and Reading. We recognised that unsigned bands, small businesses, and medium-sized venues couldn't afford to spend over a thousand pounds on hiring a concert sound system or £700 on a conference PA system.
