| Create a full design plan to add ‘flavour’ and depth to the production with recorded, pre-recorded, and foley sound. I can discuss what additional sounds are required with the director and either create them new using the professional sound equipment used in my location work, or source them from my FX library. This includes the creation of unique sounds for sci-fi/fantasy films and re-recording original sounds (glasses clinking, applause etc) |

Sound Editing

I have a full set of ProTools in a home studio for creating your final sound mix. This includes track-laying, application of EQ and effects, syncing foley and additional sound, layering ambience, mixing in the soundtrack, and mastering the final mix. This can be done with the director to ensure it meets the film’s requirements. Sound edits are easily transferable between standard editing platforms such as AVID and Final Cut Pro.

Studio voice recording for applications such as documentary voiceover can be recorded easily and quickly using high-quality vocal mics and digital recorders. Sound files can then be put on DAT, CD, DVD, emailed, uploaded or incorporated into the ProTools mix, in any standard audio format (WAV, AIFF, BWF, MP3 etc).
